Just a quick reminder from your mod team.
Our initial viewing is considered the US viewing which happens at 8 PM EDT/ 7 PM CDT. Posting any spoilers about the episode, especially in the episode discussion thread, will result in a ban. I usually try to keep it locked until 5-10 minutes out, but even then if you were to post a summary of the episode 5 minutes into the episode, that would be equally as bad, and you will be banned. It is for this reason I am making a few changes to how discussion threads are posted.
- There will no longer be any Canadian viewing discussion for prior Wednesdays. It is hardly used so it just ends up littering the front page. Also, it seems that people who either watched the show or read the comments from it will like to go into the US discussion thread while the episode is still on and do the very thing mentioned above. I'm sure it's not out of a place of malice, but I think the best thing to do at the moment is to just not do these. Also, do not make your own posts for the Canadian airing discussion. It will be removed and if done repeatedly it will result in a temporary ban.
- There will be post-episode discussions posted from every episode here on out. I know this has been something that has been exclusive for the most part to season premieres and finales, but I think this would cut down on the instances of people doing the thing mentioned above, too.
This post isn't made to call anyone out or make the issue too serious, but it is our opinion that the discussion threads should be treated like an event. Like we're all watching it together and talking about it. When someone (regardless of how well-intentioned it may be) hops in and starts analyzing the episode with spoilers involved it makes it a lot less fun for everyone else.
